Safety and health are the top priority when it comes to work in times of the corona pandemic. Occupational safety plays a central role here. Federal Labor Minister Hubertus Heil, together with the Managing Director of the German Statutory Accident Insurance, Dr. Stefan Hussy, presented the COVID 19 occupational safety standard. This formulates specific requirements for occupational safety in times of the Corona crisis. Further information can be found in the PDF. After the extensive lunch break, which also gave the opportunity to visit a poster session and some discussions with exhibitors, the program continued with the contribution of Mr. Cusumanu from the Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences on “Prevention as Part of Personnel & Organizational Development ”. He particularly emphasized the need to integrate the different approaches. The practical part continued with Mr. Michael Sorge from the BG Handel & Warenlogistik and the explanation of the risks that can be associated with the transport and storage of lithium batteries.
